High School Tutoring

The Mathematics Learning Success Center (MLSC) at Oklahoma State University offers affordable drop-in tutoring for local High School Students.

What times?

During the Fall 2019 semester High School students can come to the MLSC (located on the 5th floor of OSU’s Edmon Low Library) at the following times:

Sunday 1:00-4:00pm (Tutor: Jeff)
Tuesday 6:00-9:00 pm (Tutor: Carson)
Thursday 6:00-9:00 pm (Tutor: Kinsey)

Two of our tutors, Sam and Matthew, will also be at the Stillwater High School Library on Tuesday & Thursday from 4:15-5:15 pm.

What dates?

High School Tutoring will be offered beginning Tuesday August 20th for the Fall 2019 semester.  There will be no High School Tutoring on Sunday, Oct 27 for OSU’s Fall Break. There will be no High School Tutoring on Tuesday Nov 26, Thursday, Nov 28, and Sunday Dec 1 for Thanksgiving Break. The last day that the MLSC will be open for the Fall semester is Friday, December 13th.

How do I sign up?

Students who are interested in participating in this program may come for free the first time to try out the program. After that, they will need to enroll and pay a one-time $35 fee for the entire semester. Please bring the completed enrollment form and a check to MSCS 401 on OSU’s campus. What should I bring?

Students will need to bring their own textbooks or problems to work on, and the tutors will be available to assist students when they have questions.
